I have only great things to say about Jon. He helped us every step of the way to get into our new home. He helped us avoid purchasing a home that we qualified for but was more than what we felt comfortable with paying each month by telling us to write a budget of all our projected expenses. Even though we loved the home, Jon’s advice helped us not let our emotions be our guide. Not only that, but it meant less income for Jon as a result of buying a cheaper house and a longer process to find the right house, meaning more work for Jon. He wasn’t focused on the money or closing the deal, but rather focused on doing the right thing for us. We never felt pressured to buy a house from Jon at any point of this journey. That’s the kind of person you want to do business with. When we were getting close to closing, I had a problem with my lender taking forever to approve the loan and we thought we might not close on time. Jon contacted their office for me and after that conversation they finally started to speed up their snail pace process to try to close on time (i.e. they started returning phone calls and emails more than once a day). Thanks to Jon, we were able to close much sooner. Jon is a great guy, is very knowledgeable of his profession, and puts people first. I HIGHLY recommend him to be anyone’s real estate agent.
